I love mini figures! I'll check it out later

Aye wonder if that's the same size Blastoise I have somewhere, gotta dig up the box with my little collection sometime, wherever it might currently reside... watchlisted that talk for now, intriguing...

Good rant. :) Especially the Pokemon half - that's pretty much the only franchise I've been collecting here, though not sure if mine are authentic or no, just used to get any I could, maybe no collectors items at all in my collection.

Regarding the holes, I wonder if they might have used a different production method back in the day, with a rod to set the figure on during production that they remove when it's done, possibly for the painting stage? Whereas newer ones are factory molded/pressed/painted all at once? Or at least: cheaper ones. Ones that don't get painted by hand. Just a theory but it'd make sense to me...

Thank you for watching my video CD:) I usually collect for its integrity and general likeness of the figure. Authentic or not, the figure should be upon you to judge and analyze its interesting attributes.

Thats a wonderful suggestion of how they used the hole for painting methods. A really good theory. They might took that advantage to make the hole usage for mutiple of stuff. (like pen holders or base holders) whilst, originally being used as a tool to use to colour the figure without touching it. Fantastic theory you got there:D

Also really haven't paid as much attention to the details on the one I own! Ggoing to be a new experience looking at 'em after this!

I hope you can write an entry to show what you find and why you like them personallyXD

I'm glad I gave you another perspective into these cool things:D

Suppose I'll feel obligated to do so now. XD Though it'll probably be a while before I figure out where they are, there's a lot of boxes around our house and things aren't really sorted appropriately... I'll let you know when the time comes though!

That sounds possible yeah. :) Wonder if there's a standard type of base/pin for these things if so, don't think I've seen any, or that any of the ones I bought came with one.. it really could be used that way though. Maybe something entirely for hobbyists if so/nothing they sell particularly for this purpose.
